The StoryIs society made up of winners and losers? What is it like to live a in a world devoid of love and support? Could you survive? Angie Derney leads a life marred with disappointments. She has a cheating a husband, a neglectful daughter, and a past full of emotional rejection. The only thing Angie looks forward to each day, after her job as a grocery store checkout, clerk is being able to spy on her husband and his mistress and listen to their pillow talk. After walking in on her thirteen-year-old daughter engaging in sexually promiscuous behavior with another boy, Angie has reached her wit’s end and decides to use a gun to solve her problems. But when a surprise visitor from her past displays a simple act of kindness Angie experiences a spiritual redemption. What will become of Angie’s future life? |
